Thomas Henry, the world's second-largest premium mixer brand, is introducing Vivid Watermelon to the U.S. market. The flavor, made with 8.8% real watermelon juice, is now available in over 25 states through bars, retailers, and e-commerce platforms including Amazon. The mixer was first released in Europe as a seasonal offering before becoming a permanent addition to Thomas Henry's global lineup. It marks the first watermelon-flavored entry in the premium mixer category stateside.

Product Details Vivid Watermelon contains no artificial sweeteners, artificial ingredients, or preservatives.

The formula includes Thomas Henry's signature fine micro-bubbles to preserve freshness and effervescence. The flavor profile is described as juicy and lightly sweet, balanced with hints of pomegranate and citrus. The mixer is designed for use in highballs, spritzes, and zero-proof serves. It will be sold in 24-packs on Amazon and in both 24-pack and 48-pack formats on the UNDONE website.

Bar Adoption Vivid Watermelon is already featured on menus at several U.S. cocktail destinations, including Dear Irving in New York, Aba and Taste Food & Wine in Illinois, Inesto in Wisconsin, and Hewing Hotel and Estelle in Minnesota. Marco Frizzarin, Senior International Brand Manager at Thomas Henry, said: "With Vivid Watermelon, we created a mixer that taps into a globally loved flavor while giving bartenders a versatile, easy-to-use tool to craft exciting drinks. We know that complexity behind the bar doesn't always mean complicated recipes - sometimes, the right mixer can make all the difference. That's what we're bringing to the table with this flavor, which was developed and inspired by our bar partners around the world."

Market Context

Thomas Henry operates in over 60 countries and has expanded its U.S. portfolio with recent launches including Ginger Ale, alongside existing offerings like Tonic Water, Cherry Blossom Tonic, Spicy Ginger Beer, Soda Water, Mystic Mango, and Pink Grapefruit. The brand is positioned alongside UNDONE, a non-alcoholic spirits line, to serve full-strength, low-ABV, and alcohol-free drink formats.

Why It Matters

As bars and consumers increasingly seek premiumized, flavor-forward mixers without artificial ingredients, Thomas Henry's watermelon entry taps into a consumer-favored fruit category while maintaining its positioning as a bartender-developed tool. The dual distribution strategy—retail and direct-to-consumer—reflects broader channel consolidation in the mixer category.
