Record-Breaking Foosball Activation Targets International Players Teremana Tequila will host The World Table, a one-of-a-kind foosball event designed to set a Guinness World Record, on July 11 at Brooklyn Navy Yards. The activation will feature a 528-foot foosball table and players representing 48 competing nations. Doors open at 2 p.m. ET, with open play running from 2–4 p.m. ET before the official record attempt at 4 p.m. ET. The premium small-batch tequila, founded by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, is positioning the event as a celebration of global connection around sport.
Event Experience and Talent Attendees will have access to complimentary cocktails, live gameplay, custom jersey and patch stations, photo booths, commemorative trading cards, and DJ entertainment. Comedian and actor Jay Pharaoh will provide live play-by-play commentary throughout the event. Teremana framed the activation around its "Mana" philosophy, which the brand describes as representing "good energy, deep connection and the importance of togetherness." The company stated: "By gathering fans from 48 nations around one shared table, to accomplish a collective goal and break a world record together, the experience celebrates the idea that connection can be just as powerful as competition."
Why It Matters
Brand activations tied to major sporting moments—particularly summer competitions—offer operators and venues a template for driving foot traffic and social engagement through experiential events. Teremana's investment in a record-breaking stunt demonstrates how spirits brands are moving beyond traditional sampling to create shareable, media-friendly moments.
