Kentucky straight bourbon brand ROW 94 Whiskey is making three simultaneous market moves designed to deepen on-premise engagement and expand its limited-release portfolio — a playbook increasingly common among celebrity-affiliated spirits labels competing for shelf space and consumer mindshare in a crowded brown-spirits segment.
At a press event held during the Second Annual Dierks Day at the Grand Ole Opry, Dierks Bentley and Justin Willett, VP of Operations at Lofted Spirits, announced Trespasser's Proof, a new limited expression set for early 2027 at a suggested retail price of $100. The brand also unveiled its first permanent tasting room in downtown Nashville and a branded guided tour experience in partnership with Mint Julep Experiences, both opening this week.
The Liquid
Trespasser's Proof begins at Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky — the same contract distilling partner behind ROW 94's core lineup — using the same mash bill as the flagship expression. The bourbon ages a minimum of four years before being transferred to a secure location on the grounds of the Grand Ole Opry to complete its finishing period, making it among the first commercial bourbons to cite a Nashville music venue as part of its maturation story.
The four-barrel batch also incorporates staves of hard white oak and sugar maple — the same wood species used to build the Ryman Auditorium stage — as a finishing element, adding a secondary flavor vector tied directly to Nashville's cultural infrastructure. With only four barrels in production, total volume at bottling will be extremely limited; Willett's team will sample throughout aging before determining final proof ahead of release. Distribution will be available online and at select bourbon bars and retailers while supplies last, keeping this firmly in the allocated, spirits-manufacturing tier rather than a broad wholesale rollout.
On-Premise Expansion
The ROW 94 Tasting Room, located inside the Bode Hotel at 401 President Ronald Reagan Way in downtown Nashville, opens Thursday through Sunday from 4–10 p.m. The space functions as a hybrid brand experience — part bourbon bar, part brand-marketing installation — with a Dierks Bentley hologram, archival photography from Green River Distilling Co., and tour memorabilia from Bentley's past road dates.
For operators and trade buyers, the cocktail menu offers a window into how the brand is positioning its core SKUs at the on-premise. The entry point is Flight 94 at $25, delivering one-ounce pours of ROW 94, ROW 94 Full Proof, and Broken Branches — a structured tasting format that mirrors what high-volume bourbon bars use to drive trial and upsell. Cocktail builds range from stirred-and-spirit-forward (the Free & Easy, with sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, and bitters) to approachable crossover formats like Dierks' Lemonade, with ROW 94, raspberry, and lemonade — a construction that maps cleanly onto the RTD flavor profiles currently driving category growth.
The guided tour component, The Music Whiskey Trail: Dierks Bentley & ROW 94, launches Saturday and runs weekly at $169 per person for a three-hour experience through Mint Julep Experiences. Stops include Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row on Broadway, the Ryman Auditorium, and the ROW 94 Tasting Room. For the brand, the tour functions as a structured consumer acquisition funnel that also supports on-premise volume at its own venue.
Market Context
ROW 94 launched in September 2024 and earned a Gold medal (94 points) at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a credential that has helped the brand negotiate retail and on-premise placement. The simultaneous rollout of a tasting room, a halo limited release, and a branded experiential tour reflects a route-to-market strategy built around destination-driven trial rather than traditional wholesale depletion pull. As the broader bourbon category faces increased competition for distributor attention and retail planogram real estate, brands of this scale are increasingly investing in direct-to-consumer touchpoints — particularly in high-traffic tourism markets like Nashville — to drive awareness upstream of the three-tier system.
"I've spent most of my life trying to get closer to the music, sometimes through doors I wasn't supposed to walk through," Bentley said at the Opry announcement. "That same intense passion for country music is what inspired this bourbon."
