Redemption Whiskey is launching Redemption Single Barrel Bonded Bourbon, a 100-proof bourbon aged at least six years that combines the individual character of a single barrel with the exacting requirements of bottled-in-bond whiskey. The release marks Redemption's first bottled-in-bond expression and the first release in the brand's relaunched Higher Marques Collection, its ultra-premium tier. Selected by Master Blender Alan Kennedy, each barrel is chosen for character, structure and balance, then bottled non-chill filtered by Redemption Barrel Selections in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Bonded Standards and Single Barrel Distinction The expression is produced in an individual distilling season by one distiller at one distillery, aged in a federally bonded warehouse and bottled at exactly 100 proof. Each bottle comes from one individual aging barrel, carrying its own barrel number, distilling season, mash bill and age statement. The bourbon ages at least six years, exceeding the four-year bottled-in-bond minimum by two years.

Flavor and Availability Aromas of vanilla, worn leather, bright raspberry and oak lead into vanilla, toasted oak, crème brûlée, sweet corn and warm baking spice, with a long finish of caramel, oak and spice. Redemption Single Barrel Bonded Bourbon will launch nationally during National Bourbon Heritage Month in September 2026 at a suggested retail price of $49.99 for a 750mL bottle. The product will be available in retail stores and online at ReserveBar.com.

Ancients Series Return Alongside this launch, Redemption's 18-Year-Old Bourbon from the Ancients Series will return to shelves in fall 2026 in limited quantities, following its debut release in 2025. The 18-Year-Old will retail for $399.99 for a 750mL bottle and will be available in-store where available in limited quantities.

Why It Matters

Bonded bourbon—a specific federal standard governing production, aging, and bottling—has gained traction among premium bourbon drinkers seeking transparency and provenance. Redemption's single barrel bonded expression appeals to collectors and operators seeking higher-price-point expressions with documented provenance and limited availability.
