Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One Team have unveiled the Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One Team 16-Year-Old Limited-Edition Release No. 2, marking the second collaborative whisky since the brands announced their multi-year partnership in November 2024. The release draws inspiration from Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman and Aston Martin Formula One Team Managing Technical Partner Adrian Newey, whose disciplines share a focus on unseen technical precision. As the release notes, "exceptional performance is defined not only by what can be seen, but by the invisible detail working beneath the surface."

Cask Maturation & Flavor Profile The whisky is matured across five cask types: first-fill bourbon barrels, Port pipes, Oloroso sherry casks, wine casks, and a final touch of Fino sherry butts. Bottled at 43% Alc./Vol., the expression balances sweetness, richness, and structure. According to the brand, the result is "a refined and assured single malt, where silken texture, orchard fruit, and elegant oak flow together in perfect harmony." The Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One Team 16-Year-Old Limited-Edition Release No. 2 carries an MSRP of $79.99 and is available nationwide.

Why It Matters

Spirits partnerships with motorsports teams remain a high-visibility channel for reaching affluent consumers. Glenfiddich's second collaborative release signals confidence in the partnership's commercial viability and reinforces the brand's positioning in the premium single malt segment.
