Gellert Global Group, a third-generation family-owned importer, has added non-alcoholic Bellini beverages to its Cipriani USA portfolio, marking an expansion of the Italian brand's U.S. presence. The company now distributes Virgin Bellini and Bellini Zero—alcohol-free versions of the signature cocktail—alongside existing Cipriani products including egg pasta and sauces. Gellert holds exclusive import rights for Cipriani Industria, the Venice-based company founded in 1931 by Giuseppe Cipriani at Harry's Bar, where the original Bellini cocktail was invented. Gellert Global Group operates as North America's largest privately held food importer through its Atalanta Corporation and DeMedici Imports Specialty Food Division.
Why It Matters
The non-alcoholic beverage category has grown significantly as operators seek premium mocktail options and consumers demand sophisticated alcohol-free alternatives. Cipriani's brand cachet and historical cocktail pedigree position these imports for placement in upscale restaurants, bars, and retail channels seeking heritage Italian beverages.
