Official Tournament Spirit Arrives in Time for Father's Day Dewar's

has unveiled its official Scotch for the 126th US Open, held June 19–21 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in the Hamptons. The Dewar's 19 Year Old, finished in Cabernet Franc Red Wine Casks from Wölffer Estate, carries an SRP of $79.99 at 43% ABV. The finish draws from the local terroir of the tournament venue. "Featuring an aroma of elegant floral notes of violets, complemented by the vibrant fruitiness of blackcurrants, the Scotch whisky is enhanced by the Cabernet Franc finish imparting beautifully balanced tasting notes of golden honey, a medley of syrupy red berries, and warm cinnamon," according to tasting notes. The 19-year maturation reflects what the brand calls "the timeless ritual of the post-round toast, crafted for gatherings and lasting celebrations." Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, a six-time award winner, created the expression as part of Dewar's Champions Edition cask-finish series.

Signature Cocktail Returns Dewar's Lemon Wedge returns as the tournament's signature cocktail, made with Dewar's 12 Year Old, fresh lemonade, and club soda. The expression is available at dewars.com
