BeatBox Pushes Growth With Tropical Flavor Drop

BeatBox Beverages is launching Coconut Breeze, a limited-time ready-to-drink flavor blending coconut cream, pineapple, and lime, available now at retailers across the U.S.

The move arrives as the brand experiences exceptional momentum in the RTD category. According to Circana data, BeatBox generated over $350 million in retail sales across U.S. MULC+ channels in 2025, representing nearly 50% year-over-year growth. The brand ranks as the #4 RTD brand and #5 fastest-growing by dollar sales.

Coconut Breeze joins more than 15 existing flavors in BeatBox's portfolio and comes packaged in the brand's signature 500 mL resealable carton. The company emphasized the flavor targets the peak summer drinking season and taps into demonstrated consumer appetite for tropical and coconut-forward profiles.

Strategy Centered on Limited Drops

"We built BeatBox with fun flavors and great–tasting party punch – it's something our fans have come to expect," said Justin Fenchel, BeatBox Co-Founder & CEO. "By staying focused on flavor and showing up where culture comes to life, we've driven sustained growth while building a brand people don't just drink - they seek out, show up for and share. Limited drops like this give our fans something new to discover and invite new consumers into the category in a way that feels uniquely BeatBox."

The limited-release strategy reflects broader RTD category trends. Industry data shows one in five shoppers actively seek new products, with particular interest in flavor exploration.

Market Context

BeatBox, founded in 2011 as a University of Texas MBA project, gained national prominence after a 2014 Shark Tank appearance. The brand is now available in all 50 states across more than 140,000 retail locations. Parent company Anheuser-Busch acquired BeatBox and integrates it within a broader portfolio that includes Cutwater Spirits and NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer.

Consumers can locate Coconut Breeze using BeatBox's store locator at BeatBoxBeverages.com while supplies last.

Why It Matters

For operators, BeatBox's aggressive limited-release cadence and sustained growth trajectory signal strong consumer demand in the RTD spirits category. The brand's focus on nostalgia-driven flavors and seasonal drops provides retailers with turnover opportunities and differentiates the RTD shelf amid intensifying competition from both established spirits makers and emerging brands.
