Amalfi Limoncello, a premium small-batch import from Italy's Amalfi Coast, has earned a gold medal and 90-point rating at the 2026 Bartender's Spirits Awards. The limoncello is produced by the seventh-generation Aceto Family, longtime producers on the Amalfi Coast. The spirit is made exclusively from the region's Sfusato lemons and uses organic production methods. The award follows a previous "Liqueur of the Year" designation at the 2025 Miami International Spirits Competition.
Why It Matters
Gold medals and high scores at bartender-focused competitions carry weight in on-premise channels, where spirits awards influence purchasing decisions and menu placement. For a small-batch import, competition recognition can drive distributor and bar interest in underrepresented Italian liqueur categories.
